Hal Cruttenden: Work in Progress | Plymouth Comedy Festival: Barbican Theatre

Hal Cruttenden takes to the Auditorium at Barbican Theatre with a work-in-progress show mixing established material with brand-new ideas. It is a chance to see one of the UK’s most accomplished comedians shaping his next show on one of Plymouth Comedy Festival’s principal stages. Hal Cruttenden is one of the top stand up comedians working in the UK today, as well as being a highly accomplished writer and actor. He has made several appearances on ‘Live at the Apollo’, ‘Have I Got News For You’ and ‘The Royal Variety Performance’ as well as regular appearances on shows such as ‘Mock the Week’, ‘The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice’ and ‘The Apprentice: You’re Fired’. He’s written and starred in his own sitcom, ‘Hal’ on Radio 4 (co-written with Dominic Holland). Hal will be bringing a work in progress show, with a mixture of some old and new material This performance is part of Plymouth Comedy Festival, taking place across the city from 5 to 7 February 2027. Hal Cruttenden joins a programme of familiar names, rising acts and new discoveries appearing at venues throughout Plymouth over one packed weekend.
